Rex Mundi Book 6 in stores

Front cover to Rex Mundi Book 6, available now!

Biblically thick, in senses both metaphoric and literal!

It's here, a little earlier than anticipated! We added a few extra pages to the final chapter, which I hope makes the pacing of the ending closer to perfect. There's also a final map and a final two-page "le Journal de la Liberté" – first time in print.

That, plus a whopping 44 page Brother Matthew murder mystery, and a brilliant 8 page prologue with art by Guy Davis and David Stewart.

Finally, the Rex Mundi saga is complete. Come an' git yerself a copy of Book 6 at amazon.com (I get a little kick-back from ’em if you buy it from the above link)!

    1. I have all the individual issues, but I think I’ll get the DH trades to flesh out my bookshelves. I want to see those new pages.

    2. Lemme know your address, Nick! I’ll send one to you. I feel guilty making you pay for the same stuff twice.

    3. I got mine the other day! It looks so much better than the original issues, the printed pages look a lot better.
and the hole book is awesome, is the best of them all with all those goodies!

    4. And I will get this one saturday in Paris, where it all began. Was it not during Arvid’s stay on Paris that the idea of Rex Mundi came ?
I’ll read it on Sunday and will read the complete story again. Come to think of it, I only read the comics and the Image books. Time to read the DH books. Yes, Arvid, you made me buy the same stuff thrice ! Three’s the charm…

    5. That’s right! As of yet, it’s the only time I’ve been to Paris. I hope to return in triumph, like Christ entering Jerusalem (on the back of a donkey).

Thanks for the support, Rodolphe! I hope you like the Dark Horse material. I don’t know about the writing, but the art is fantastic.

    6. One of the highlights of my visit to Paris last year, was seeing all of the Rex Books on a comic shop in Paris, but the best was when I was staying in Mortmarte in my Hostel, at night and a little bit drub (like Julien) I went up to Sacre Coeur, it was dark and cold, ad there was no one on the streets, after that I started to go down some stairs and I realized these were the sam stairs Julien walks down on the issue where he meets the secret hidden guy on the cementery.
It felt really surreal and I loved that moment…
