And *you* have excellent taste in independent comics, Diego!

The third novel is a *lot* shorter than the first two – about half the length. Five issues is all we needed!

Thanks a lot for your reply Arvid, I was a bit confused since I havent read the novels and figured that a 5 issue arc would be too short for an adaptation, guess I was just a bit paranoid :P

Glad to see you care so much about following the original story while expanding and making tweaks as needed for modern times and I'm looking forward to the rest of the series, this book is one of the better independents on the racks in my opinion. Keep up the great work :)

Diego, thanks for reading! As for the last issue, do you mean #21? #21 is the beginning of our adaptation of the third novel! We had to make some changes, as always, but I promise if you go back and read it again everything will be made clear.

After the third novel ends we're doing another original story, "Savages of Mars". Tars Tarkas and John Carter are the stars. As you no doubt know, the original novels veer away from Carter to his son Carthoris after the third installment. But we want to make sure we keep up with plenty of stories starring Carter, so expect more original arcs starring him.

But we're planning on adapting the first five novels as closely as possible. Hope you keep following the series, thanks for stopping by!

Hello Arvid, there's something I'd like to ask, one of the main reasons Im pulling Warlord of Mars is because it is billed as an adaptation of ERB's original novels; and right after the adaptation of the second novel ended a couple issues ago we had two interim issues kinda like you did back when 'A Princess of Mars' ended.

But the thing is, now Im wondering just when the adaptation of the the third novel will begin since a new original arc started as of last issue, is it coming after those 5 issues? I'm guessing you are filling gaps in ERB's narrative that weren't altogether clear in the novels, I haven't read them so I'd like to know what's what.

Can you share any insight on the plans for the series? Thanks in advance.
