   Thanks! I think #2 is coming out… soonish? We’re doing the prepress right now. When I have a date I’ll be shouting it out like a crazy person on street corners. And right here.

   Hadn’t heard of the series before. But, in my defence, I’m a graphic novel/comic newbie.
   Anyway, the art blew me away and I ordered it today. It’ll be on its way to my eager hands soon…Thanks for repackaging it in omnibus format!
   But I wanted to confirm something – Does the omnibus include all the covers + variants?
   I Googled some images for the series and a few of the covers struck me as being hauntingly beautiful. Would really love it if the covers are included.

   P.S. – Omnibus 2 comes out in Feb, 2013. Just saw the solicitation for it online. The cover’s nice too…From the 4th TPB, I think.

   I actually gave away the only comp copy of the omni I’ve received so far, but if I remember correctly, which I don’t always do, Dark Horse was very good about including variant covers and a good chunk of the little Rex Mundi side stories I wrote over the years.

   My absolute favorite variant is Guy Davis’ back cover for Rex Mundi #2, from Image Comics.

   Thanks for the tip on Omnibus vol. 2! This is why I have a Web page – to glean information from the people out there who are smarter and more resourceful than me.
