Breaking and Entering
Breaking and Entering is a resource for anyone who’s long on dreams but short on clues when it comes to breaking into comics. I was there myself, and you don’t have to make the same mistakes I did. Lucky you!
The first piece of advice I can offer, whether you’re a writer, an artist, or both, is to learn how to use design software. Inside out. I use a Mac, I love it, but PCs are just fine. And — I admit it! — cheaper. I use Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign to slap my comics together.
